VISION
Choices Interlinking is committed to the vision that all youth and young adults have equitable access to the resources they need to succeed. We envision a world where youth and caring adults learn and work together as catalysts for growth and change. This vision extends especially to youth and young adults who have historically faced racial and other structural barriers to success.
MISSION
We seek systemic solutions to longstanding problems of racial inequities, especially those impacting underserved marginalized youth and young adults of color. The intersections of climate change, environmental injustice and social injustice are key to our work. We work together with youth leaders and others to find equitable solutions that address the legacy of systemic racism, environmental injustice and social injustice. We seek to rebuild the U.S. economy and social fabric in ways that work for everyone.
Inclusion, empowerment and collaboration are central to this work as is
transformational justice. This includes opportunities for social and climate resiliency, healing and accountability.
Such opportunities include alternatives to incarceration including equitable access to good jobs and housing, equitable access to resources for homelessness diversion, and equitable access to other community-based solutions that promote inclusive well-being, the end to mass incarceration and the end to health and death rate disparities.
